- Get Raw lasagne sheets one packet(it doesnt require boiling) if you dont want to use these you can boil it n use
- Take 4 tbsp Oil
- Make ready Onions chopped 1 medium
- Prepare 1 tbsp Garlic chopped/ paste
- Take 1/2 kg Mince (chicken)
- Get 1 tsp Salt
- Make ready 1 tsp Sugar
- Take 1 tsp Oregano
- Take 1 tsp Black pepper
- Prepare 1 tsp Crushed red chillies
- Get Tomatoes 3 blended
- Take Tomato paste 2 tbsp heaped
- Make ready 1 1/2 cups Water
- Take 1 tbsp Maida
- Take White sauce:
- Prepare 3 tbsp Butter
- Prepare 3 tbsp Maida
- Get 2 cups Milk
- Take 1 cup Cream
- Make ready Salt and black pepper 1/2 tsp each
- Take 3 tbsp Cheddar cheese
- Make ready Assembling :
- Prepare Cheddar cheese 1 cup grated
- Take Mozrella cheese 1 cup grated
- Get Mixed herbs to sprinkle
- Prepare Olive oil to drizzle
This is your classic, deli style lasagne with a rich, beef mince filling and a deliciously creamy béchamel. A Classic Lasagna recipe that everyone should have in their go-to recipe collection! Today's Classic Lasagna recipe is from my husband Jack's recipe collection! Classic Eggplant Lasagna that's full of cheesy goodness, without the pasta!
Instructions to make Classic Lasagne:
- In a pan add oil, fry garlic n onions till softened.
- Once softened add in chicken mince n fry till colour changes.
- Next add in spices; salt, sugar, black pepper. crushed red chillies, oregano. Mix it.
- Add in tomato paste n blended tomatoes n mix it again
- Add in water and flour 1 tbsp n cover and cook on low for 10 to 15 mins.
- Sauce shouldn't be dry but it should be saucy n runny.
- For white sauce put butter and maida in a pan.saute it for 2 to 3 mins.
- Next remove from pan and add in milk, cream, salt n black pepper n cook till it thickens to a medium consistency.
- Remove from heat and add in cheddar cheese n mix it well while hot.
- For assembling take a pyrex dish n grease it. Put meat sauce a little n spread evenly.
- Next give a layer of raw sheets. Top with meat layer and white sauce.
- Top with mozrella cheese n mixed herbs a little.
- Again put lasagne sheets, meat layer, white sauce n now cheddar cheese layer with mixed herbs.
- Repeat layers, finally top with mozrella cheese and mixed herbs.
- Drizzle olive oil on top a little bit. Cover with aluminium foil n bake at 180 degrees for 40 mins.
- For last 5 minutes grill it too to get golden color from top too.
