  4. Now add all masalas and saute it for a min add water, salt. Let water get boiled properly. Add rice and dal to boiling water. Mix it well. Close the lid of the cooker. Make flame high and get 4 whistles.
  5. Let cooker get cool. Open the lid mix the Khichadi well. Serve hot with pickle, Papad, salad and Yellow Khati (sour) Khadi.
